St Thomas
Campus
5th years have a vast amount of
teaching at St Thomas's, but you may be asked to come here during
any of your years for exams, lectures or dreaded needlestick
follow-ups etc.
St Thomas's Campus is based in
Westminister.
It is easily accessible by a number of means:
Rail
Underground
- Westminister Underground
Station (Jubilee, Circle & District lines) is the closest
station.
- Follow the signs to St
Thomas's Hospital and walk across Westminister Bridge (5min).
- You can also get the
underground to Waterloo & walk.
- Trains run very frequently.
- Check times at
www.thetube.com
Staff Bus
- A free staff bus runs from
St Thomas's to Guys Campus twice an hour.
- You can catch the bus from Guys Campus (Roundabout at the end of Great Maze
Pond Road) or Westminsiter (Near the A & E Entrance).
NEEDLESTICKS!
- If you get a needlestick
you will have to come to St Thomas's to get processed and give
blood.
- There are 2 occupational
health's at St Thomas's so check which one you have to go to (IT
WILL SAVE A LOT OF TIME)
- One is located in Gassiott
House outside the main hospital entrance.
- The other is located in the
South Wing of the hospital near the Dental Polyclinic and is a
dedicated occupational health for KCL students.
