Evelina's Children Hospital
Fourth year dental student Kishan Sheth organised an evening of talks to raise money for Evelina's Children's Hospital. Kishan was supported by the KCL Dental Society and was sponsored by Henry Schein.
Presentations were delivered by five high profile dental professionals, Dr. Raj Ahlowalia spoke on greating to treating, Dr. Subir Banerji on how to distinguish yourself, Dr. Anoop Maini on GDP orthodontics, Dr. Alun Rees on business of dentistry mastery and Dr. Nilesh Parmar on implant innovation dentistry. Kishan also presented his and Dr. Ghuman's literature review findings on the topic of a potential association between Periodontitis and Cancer. Kishan would like to thank Professor Stephen Dunne and Dr. Mandeep Ghuman for their valuable advice on the topic; Dr. Helena Lewis Greene for chairing the event and providing valuable advice regarding the presentation; Henry Schein for all their support, as well as the KCL Dental Society for helping market and promote the evening.
By the end of the evening, £560 was raised for Evelina Children's Hospital.
